Well hello there, my name is Jon Meyer and I’m a music lifer. Born and raised in Dallas, Tx, I spend my days composing music, sampling sounds and talking into a camera about all things music.

As lead composer of the Merge Production Music Label, I oversee a handful of talented composers in the creation of all types of music for media. In 2019 I launched Jon Meyer Sounds, a collection of boutique sample instruments, many of which are free, crafted to inspire and empower composers. Each week I release a YouTube video focused on the skills and tools required to make a life in music production and composition.
